2. How do I apply for a job at Gameforge?

We prefer to receive applications easily, quickly and straightforwardly via our application tool - this not only saves you time, but also enables a smooth and transparent application process for you and us. You can simply apply for one of the positions listed in the job advertisements or spontaneously send a speculative application to as "Become part of our team". Open applications should contain information about your desired field of activity.

A member of the HR team will contact you promptly after receiving your application.

3. How do I apply a second time?

If you already have a profile on our Jobs page, you can add more applications to it. To do so, please log in via the link "Please sign in" after choosing to "Apply now" on a specific job ad or use the "View profile" link in the upper right corner of our Jobs page

If you have not actively created a profile, please use the "My Profile" button in the upper right corner of our Jobs page. If you don't remember the password you used for your first application, you can generate a new one by clicking on "Forgot your password?" and then log in and add another application as described above.

4. How does the application process work?

After you have applied, we will send you confirmation that we have received your application. This is where our part begins:

Firstly, we will check the application documents you have submitted and provide them to the appropriate department. A member of the HR team will get in touch with you to explain the next steps. We always try to get the most out of your application and, if you wish, we will check whether we can offer you an alternative position even beyond the position you have selected if you have agreed to this in your application.

It is our policy to keep you fully informed about the status of your application throughout the entire process. Additionally, you can view the current status of the process in your applicant profile. Whatever the situation, you will always be informed about the outcome of your application.

5. Which documents do I need to submit?

We would be pleased to receive the following documents:

- Cover letter
- Curriculum vitae/résumé
- Certificates/degrees
- References and certificates pertaining to previous professional development, achievements and qualifications
- Work samples if necessary

The cover letter should state your motivation for the position and your interest in Gameforge as well as current contractual obligations and your salary expectations. The résumé should describe your previous professional stations (including the respective areas of responsibility) as well as your school, company and/or university education.

6. Are there deadlines for applications?

No – if the position is online you are welcome to apply!

7. How should I prepare for an interview?

Applicants should be well-informed about the company and our games. You do not need to be a professional gamer to work for Gameforge, but a certain affinity for games and the gaming industry is expected, especially when working closely with the products.

During an interview we try to get to know you both personally and professionally. You should therefore have an idea of the professional requirements of the advertised position and consider which qualifications you can bring to the table. We also introduce ourselves, of course, and you should get to know us. In any case, you will have the opportunity to ask us questions.

8. Are English skills necessary?

Yes – Gameforge is an international company consisting of a team with employees from around 30 countries. English is our working language and therefore indispensable in day-to-day communication.

9. Should the application be written in German or English?

We generally accept applications in both German and English. Please note that some job advertisements specifically state that we need your application documents in English.

10. Can I send an open application?

Sure – preferably using our online tool on the website.

11. Where can I delete my applicant profile?

To delete your applicant profile you must first log in to your applicant profile. Then click "Options" in the upper right corner to open a drop-down menu and select "Settings". On the bottom right you will find the option "Delete Profile".

To view the status of your application you must first log in to your applicant profile.
